In San Fransisco on Tuesday the Washington Nationals fell to the San Francisco Giants 3-2, in a crushing end to the post season. After losing the first two games of the series at home, the Nationals extended the series, winning 4-1 in San Francisco on Monday. Heartbreaking to many fans the Nats lost their chance at a game five and the opportunity to advance, on a wild pitch by reliever Aaron Barrett, which gave the Giants the winning run. The series as whole was incredibly close with exceptional pitching by both teams.
