From 2012 (when the DCIAA championships were established) to 2017, the Wilson boys and girls track teams have both won city championships.This year, the boys tied for first place and the girls got second place. For the state championships, the girls won in 2014 and 2017, and the boys won in 2017 and 2018. When both the boys and girls teams won in 2017, Wilson became the first team to sweep both the girls and boys.
Three seniors will be running college track next year. Isaac Frumkin will run at Johns Hopkins, Dominick Hogans will run at Penn State Harrisburg next year, and Jacob Boss will run at Morehouse College.
As for the current team, the coach believes that the team has promise. “Our sophomore class is the largest and the strongest. I’m very excited about their future,”
